Judy Perkins has done an amazing job in her debut children's book, Diplo's Dilemma. Packed with vivid illustrations and an important message, this is the perfect read for dinosaur-loving kids! The book encourages young readers to stand up against bullying and make a positive difference in the world. A must-have for any home or school library!

This book is a real gem. It is beautifully illustrated and well written in rhyming verse. The illustrations perfectly depict the story and are bright, colourful and fun. Most kids love dinosaurs so it will appeal to any young dino fan, but the story is also about bullying and would be perfect as a discussion starter about bullying, both at home and at school. As a former primary school teacher, I highly recommend Diplo's Dilemma. You won't be disappointed.

My 6 year old enjoyed 'Diplo's Dilemma' - her favourite characters were Diplo & Terry. She also enjoyed spotting all the high frequency words & the rhyme.
We have our own 'Sara Tops' at my daughters school who causes much distress in the playground. This would be a suitable story for my daughter's teacher to read to the class to introduce bullies unacceptable behaviour & it's impact on others.
We all need to encourage our children to be kind so this book will help a lot! Illustrations are amazing too.
Highly recommended!

Diplo’s Dilemma is a delightful, delicious and didactic children’s book with a powerful
message about bullying by first time author Judy Perkins. The text is populated by well-
drawn and colourful characters whose life like animation immediately engage and draw ourempathy. Illustrator Courtney Huddleston has created a charming Flintstonian landscape which has a 3 D immersive quality as the characters move fluidly from page to page carried along by dialogue and Perkin’s gentle and illuminative prose. Diplo’s Dilemma and the
assortment of its likeable characters are an ideal classroom teaching tool, or a gentle read to the grand kids, and even bigger ones! Bullying is not OK and Perkins finds a way for us allto get along. A dinosaur fairy-tale with a bedrock message and a happy ending. It ticks all the boxes for me.

Howdy Friends,
I'm Diplo!
Even though I have a very long neck and tail, I'm not very smart and the other dinosaurs frighten me. I do have very strong legs though. My favourite foods include ferns and leaves. I sometimes use my tail for balance when I look for leaves at the top of trees.
Hello! I'm Sarah Tops.
I have 3 horns on my large face but I have beautiful frill at the back of my head. I'm pretty scary looking, but I can't run as fast as the other dinosaurs. My Mum and Dad call me "Slow Coach!" I love eating tough plants with my many teeth!!
'Wassup dudes! I'm Iggy.
I have a narrow head and a long tail. I can easily move from using two of my limbs limbs to four. I can move very quickly. My name Iguanodon means "Iguana tooth".
Greetings all!
I'm Terry.
I'm one of the largest of the dinosaurs. I have a big head and a large brain too.
I have long sharp teeth because I love eating meat.
Hi there!
I'm Reggie Raptor.
Do you know that I have feathers but I can't fly. This make me angry. I have sharp claws which help me to rip into meat which I love! I'm not very big but I can run very fast!!
'Sup! I'm Steggy.
I'm a stegosaurus. I have two rows of plates that stick out of my neck. I don't have a large brain and my eyesight is weak but I have an excellent sense of smell. I like eating plants.
Howdy! I'm Al.
My Dad calls me Big Al because I can grow to be 8.5 meters tall when walking on my hind legs. I'm a Carnivore and love eating meat!!
Howdy Bro!
I'm Bronty.
I'm a brontosaurus. Did you know that means "Thunder Lizard?" I have a very long neck and small head. I can live to be 100 years old. I love eating plants.
